  We are seasonal campers since 2015 and we love seeing all the short stay campers. Many fun people come in year in and year out. I have also noticed repeat customers, fun Spanish speaking families from Toronto area that stay in July for couple of nights and playing bachata and salsa and making it fun for all. We even became friends.

  Highly recommend Paul Bunyan. We have been to many campgrounds with our young family the past few years and this one was on the top of the "go back" list. Best of both with the well maintained beach and pool. I feel that the owners and their staff put safety as their number one priority, which all owners should. So if this breed of dog is causing a stir among seasonal, renters or day campers, then I 100% back up these owners and WILL be going back to Paul Bunyan because our overall camping experience was AMAZING and WELCOMING.

  Dog owners at times had to loudly yell at dogs without the leash to snap out of attack mode as it seemed they were charging at kids. We had to leave as it was not safe. This happened i think one more time. If these are the dogs that are not welcome and subject of negative reviews I commend Jim and Sue and they have special place in my heart for placing public safety over ignorant people.

  We have a cat and we love dogs. Park is amazing, beach fun, pool and the owners that keep it amazing.

  I personally think that owners are very accommodating. I also can attest playing with my 12 y.o. daughter and her friend on the golf course in the commons area and 2-3 young families came with their dogs ("scary looking dogs") and had them running all over the place as this was a dog no leash park.

  on the other note, come and have fun, park is one of a kind and your kids will thank you as they will meet many new friends and have experience of a lifetime.

  Absolutely amazing views from the beach front- great pathway down to the beach! So much to do here at Paul Bunyan.

  I love traveling! Love the area as well, however a friend of mine was banned from the park for her “large aggressive looking dogs.” I’m sorry I cannot and will not EVER support a company that discriminated based purely on looks. I have a Corso, he is 110lbs and probably looks “to mean” for you, well guess my two year old nephew will have to take his play partner and best friend somewhere else that allows large dogs. My dogs are my kids and if they aren’t allowed because they look “scary” then me and my family will go somewhere else!

  Please don't be discouraged by other reviews- as this one situation has clearly been blown way out of proportion. I've been here multiple times and it's always enjoyable, relaxing and so much fun!

  Paul Bunyan is a beautiful campground! Great family atmosphere, beautiful views and extremely caring owners! You can tell the owners take pride in their family campground. I know they work so hard to ensure they always have lots of events that are suitable for all ages and the grounds are kept very clean! The owners are always looking out for the safety of their campers and deal with every situation in a professional and diligent manner.

  I want to personally thank Jim and Sue for 4 great years at Paul Bunyan. They are wonderful hosts and I know we can return some day when we are ready. Our Great Dane Apollo was always welcome at the park as he was always our gentle giant. I look forward to visiting the friends we made at the park. Cheers.
